ART + TECHNOLOGY + THE LIBERAL ARTS

Welcome to the NCAT, St. Lawrence University’s state-of-the-art, interdisciplinary arts technology facility. Located in the Noble Center, the NCAT exists for two reasons: it meets the technological needs of the arts departments in teaching and learning; and it serves as a hub for collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts — both within the arts and across campus. The NCAT staff works with faculty members to coordinate the necessary facilities, equipment, and training to explore the intersections among digital technologies and the arts.

Open hours are Sunday through Thursday, 4:00pm to midnight in NC003.

Anyone with a valid SLU ID card can use the lab during these hours; you don’t have to be enrolled in a class. However, these are the ONLY times that the NCAT is open for general use, so please plan accordingly.

If you have a class in the NCAT this semester, the doors will automatically unlock at your class time.
