Many students have come to the NCAT this semester with questions about printing. Information on color-laser and wide-format printing has been updated – including sizes, papers, and pricing – on the Info for Students page.
Here are the answers to the most common questions we’ve seen recently:
- Can I use the wide-format printer to make prints of my work? Yes, but you must have a departmental budget code (and permission to use it). We cannot bill individuals for printing charges. See our print guidelines on the Info for Students page for information on preparing your images for the printer.
- Where can I get my poster printed? Both ODY Library and the GIS Lab in Launders offer poster printing services. The NCAT printer is set up for fine art prints, and we stock different (and more costly) papers.
- What other options are there for on-campus printing? Office Services in Vilas Hall offers a wide array of printing services in many sizes and formats.
Black and white printing is charged against individual user quotas for classes and during open hours.
