film studies and artist guild sponsor 24-hour filmmaking contest
On October 23 and 24, the Film and Representation Studies Program and the Artists’ Guild are sponsoring a student filmmaking competition. Four-person teams will work from 1:00pm to 1:00pm to make their 15-minute films; eight teams of four have signed up to participate.
Films will be screened at 7:00pm on October 24 in the Winston Room, Student Center. A three-member jury will select the winning film, and each member of the winning team will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Brewer Bookstore.
The NCAT will be making equipment and training resources available to the filmmakers, thanks to NCAT Assistant Director Josephine Skiff. Best of luck to the competitors…
