ncatnip: more student multimedia work

ncatnipQuick on the heels of the last one, here’s another ncatnip, a sampling of euphoria-inducing student work from the NCAT. This project explores the relationships among music, movement, and image. This is also our first foray into “green screen” (chromakey) video in the NCAT. ncatnipOnce again, it’s time for ncatnip, a sampling of euphoria-inducing student work from the NCAT. This time, we have a multimedia project by John Cummin ‘12, Dora Ehrhardt ‘10 , Tansy Peplau ‘11, and Nate Torres ‘11. ncatnip This is the first installment of ncatnip, an occasional posting of current student work in visual media. Click on any image below to see a larger version. These illustrations were done by students in FA369 Advanced Digital Media: Samantha Rodriquez ‘10, Henry Ginsberg ‘11, Jordyn Buzza ‘11, Jayne Galusha ‘10, Natalie Kurtz ‘10, and Lucia Bonsack ‘10. The pieces, which are self-portraits, were made with Adobe Illustrator CS4.

meowmix-02This is the first installment of meowmix, an occasional posting of current student work in electronic music. Click below to hear 3 pop-oriented pieces by students in MUS220 Music and Technology. Forrest Schwab ‘10, Stephanie Milton ‘12, and Matt Weiskopf ‘10. The pieces were made with Apple’s Logic Express, which the class is learning to use.
