ncatnip: student work from the ncat

ncatnip This is the first installment of ncatnip, an occasional posting of current student work in visual media. Click on any image below to see a larger version. These illustrations were done by students in FA369 Advanced Digital Media: Samantha Rodriquez ‘10, Henry Ginsberg ‘11, Jordyn Buzza ‘11, Jayne Galusha ‘10, Natalie Kurtz ‘10, and Lucia Bonsack ‘10. The pieces, which are self-portraits, were made with Adobe Illustrator CS4.

Forrest Schwab ‘10, Stephanie Milton ‘12, and Matt Weiskopf ‘10. The pieces were made with Apple’s Logic Express, which the class is learning to use.

annual juried student art exhibition in brush gallery

St. Lawrence’s Richard F. Brush Art Gallery will host its annual juried student art exhibition April 9-22, 2009. Students were asked to submit up to four works that explore the concept of be(com)ing.

 

The show will kick off with a lecture by the juror, Clarkson’s David Beck, on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00pm in Griffiths 123. An opening reception will follow.
