common wealth, common wisdom wrapping up

August 14th, 2009 | Chris

bannerNorth Country Public Radio’s Common Wealth, Common Wisdom project is finishing up after an impressive run.

Follow the link above to the project’s great site, which richly documents the work that independent producers Gregory Warner and Laura Starecheski did with a great pool of local talent. Area teens teamed up with elders who lived through the Great Depression to produce a variety of stories about entrepreneurship in difficult times.

NCAT is proud to have played host for this project. A special thanks to NCAT Assistant Director Josephine Skiff and NCPR’s Michael Sauter for all they did to make the project run smoothly.
